Pep Guardiola's surprising confession about his future at Manchester City: "I'm sure..."

He said: “ In retrospect, our current year hasn't been good, but if we look back at the last 10 years, they were very good, and we made our fans happy, and that's worth everything .”

He added: “ It was a year of a lot of learning. There's no single reason why this year was difficult; there are many details, like the decisions that were made against me . So, personally, it's been a year of a lot of learning.”

While he concluded with these words: " After my contract with City, I'm going to slow down. I'm sure of it. I don't know if I'll retire, but I'll take a break ." It's worth adding that Pep has a contract with City until the end of the 2026/27 season.

On another note, some very important information was revealed today from Italy. It centers on Lautaro Martínez . The forward had to be replaced at halftime of Inter's 3-3 draw with Barcelona in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.

It was reported today that Toro suffered a strained flexor muscle in his left thigh and is doubtful for the rematch . The match will take place on Tuesday the 6th, starting at 4:00 PM in Milan.

Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi expressed that it's "very difficult" for Lautaro to be called up for the match in his current condition . Several social media users are sharing negative reactions.
